[WEBINAR] The Future of Food Through COVID-19
13 Aug 2020 3pmET to 4pmET
Join us for this complimentary What the Future webinar as part of our daylong Virtual Food Summit to explore fundamental changes in what, how and where we eat and how we prepare what we eat in the future.
We will serve up new research and trends in how Americans approach food takeout and delivery, attitudes and interest in plant-based and lab-cultured meats, and shifts in family dinner habits. We’ll also discuss the future of sit-down restaurants in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
This session will feature a keynote address by Geoff Freeman, president and CEO of the Consumer Brands Association, on how the pandemic has inspired near- and longer-term changes coming in the consumer packaged goods industry.
Next, Oscar Yuan, president of Ipsos Strategy3, will hold a “fireside chat” with Julia Oswald, vice president, global decision science and analytics at Kellogg Co., on how the pandemic is driving shoppers to rediscover shelf-stable and comfort foods and how those eating patterns may play out.
Then, Yuan will moderate a panel discussion with:
• RJ Hottovy, consumer equity research strategist and senior retail and restaurant analyst, Morningstar
• Andrea Drummer, partner, Original Cannabis Café and director of food and beverage, Elevation VIP Cooperative
• Claire Hanlon, president and chief client officer, Ipsos
